Hiring is underway to help produce the summer’s biggest and best annual tradition DEL MAR, Calif. (April 2, 2026) — Hiring season is officially underway for Fair season. Over the next two months, the 22nd District Agricultural Association will hire more than 1,200 temporary workers to help produce the 2026 San Diego County Fair. Openings include roles in customer service, ticketing, facilities, exhibits, cart and tram drivers, entertainment production, safety staff, parking and traffic, and more. And every job is an opportunity to take part in the largest, longest-running, and most fun community event in San Diego County. Individuals of all experience levels, ages 14 and older, are encouraged to apply. Interested applicants can browse all open positions on the San Diego County Fair’s website at sdfair.com/jobs and apply online through a quick, easy process. Positions are open until filled, and almost all workers will be hired by May 31. The 2026 San Diego County Fair runs June 10 through July 5 (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). Many positions begin prior to Opening Day, and schedules vary by position.
