On Saturday, the 2017 Biocom San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering kicked off its week long festival week starting with Expo Day at Petco Park. Returning in its 9th year, the inspirational event was filled with families that include, future innovators, scientists, engineers and over 130 local businesses and organizations, encouraging and educating children through interactive projects involving STEM.
Presented by Illumina, throughout the week the festival will feature over 60 STEM related events happening around San Diego County March 4-12 to engage all ages in science, technology, engineering and mathematics education.
