This French Toast with a twist is perfect for Christmas morning!
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup orange juice concentrate
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup finely ground pecans
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
Ten 1-inch-thick slices of french bread
1) In a shallow bowl beat together eggs, orange juice concentrate, milk, pecans, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
2) Dip bread into egg mixture, coating both sides. (soak for 30 seconds on each side).
3) In a skillet melt 1 tablespoon butter and cook the bread on both sides over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden.
4) Serve with butter, syrup, and powdered sugar.
