FLOTUS Delivers Powerful Commencement Speech at CUNY

In her last commencement speech as First Lady, Michelle Obama inspired us once again as she addressed the CUNY graduation class of 2016.Β  Β “…We know that our greatness comes when we appreciate each other’s strengths, when we learn from each other, when we lean on each other…” – she gracefully told the graduates and their families.

Mrs. Obama moved the crowd andΒ provided words of encouragement as she reflected on her personal experience:

“I wake up in a house that was built by slaves, and I watch my daughters β€” two beautiful, black young women β€” head off to school, waving goodbye to their father, the president of the United States, the son of a man from Kenya who came here to America for the same reasons as many of you: to get an education and improve his prospects in life.”

WeΒ LOVE you FLOTUS.
