The doll is part of Barbie’s “Sheroes” program, which focuses onΒ female heroes and role models who have broken boundaries. Β Copland made history last year when she became the first African American female principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre β a win on so many levels.Β The dollΒ retails for $29.95 and sportsΒ a bold red bodysuit, colorful tulle headpiece and ballet shoes.
