Today, O, The Magazine announced on their Instagram page that Oprah Winfrey is stepping up in a big way. The media mogul will be donating $10 million to coronavirus relief efforts, $1 million of which will help those facing food insecurity during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“I am donating $10 million overall to help Americans during this pandemic in cities across the country and in areas where I grew up,” Oprah tweeted on Thursday.
When it comes to giving back, Oprah is known to pull up and chip in wherever she can. The 66-year old entertainment icon is without a doubt, one of the most generous philanthropists, who does her part in making contributions.
