August 11, 2026 — Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video celebrated the upcoming series The Greatest, with an exclusive first look and conversation at the 2026 Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival. The first authorized scripted series chronicling the extraordinary life of boxing legend and global icon Muhammad Ali, The Greatest will debut exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on November 4, 2026.
Produced with the full support of his widow, Lonnie Ali, the series is brought to life by executive producer and showrunner Ben Watkins (Blue Monday Productions), Michael B. Jordan (Outlier Society), Authentic Brand Group, Roc Nation, Polygram, Grace: A Storytelling Company along with key creative partners. Starring Jaalen Best as Cassius Clay, the high-profile drama features a powerhouse cast including Omari Hardwick, Dana Gourrier, Amin Joseph, Kai Parham, Michael Ealy and Giovanni Ribisi.
