Rapper T.I.’s Harris Community Distributes Over 1,000 Turkeys & Produce

ATLANTA, GA (November 24, 2020) – Yesterday, T.I.’s Harris Community Works, a subsidiary of Us or Else Corp (501c3), hosted the 15th Annual Turkey Giveaway and distributed over 1,000 turkeys and produce (greens & sweet potatoes) to pre-selected underserved families and seniors in Atlanta’s Westside community. Despite the restrictions due to the ongoing pandemic, Harris Community Works successfully continued the longstanding tradition by holding the event outdoors and setting up a drive-through pick-up.

Harris Community Works partnered with the City of Atlanta along with other important contributors, including Humana, Kroger, AKOO, Bankhead Seafood and more. Grammy Award-winning recording artist, actor and philanthropist Tip “T.I.” Harris was on-site helping out, along with Councilmember Andrea Boone, family members, friends, local Atlanta representatives and dozens of volunteers.
