On Friday, “Extra” was with “Shark Tank’s” Daymond John at  H&M Studios in Times Square, where he made a big political announcement.

The famous mogul behind FUBU and countless other businesses revealed to “Extra” who would getting his vote in the presidential election. He said, “I’m gonna formally endorse Hillary Clinton. I held it back for quite some ’cause I really wanted to make sure that everything I wanted to hear would be said. She has really stepped up to the plate and reinforced exactly what I knew she was, talking about how she’s gonna help small business… Also making it easier for everyday Americans and under-served Americans because that by far that is the most important thing because small business is America.”

John has even met Hillary several times over the years. He shared, “When she first became Senator of New York, she acknowledged myself and my company FUBU back in 2001 way before there was a Daymond John, ‘Shark Tank’… she gave us an award, she was looking at small business then and she also had me help inspire other small business. She’s always been very consistent in fighting for the underdog and all about creating small business and jobs.”

He went on,

“Being open, bringing people together, acknowledging small business that will create jobs — that’s why I love and I want to endorse Hillary Clinton.”

When asked how both candidates would fare on his hit show “Shark Tank,” he made it clear that Trump’s ideology would not fly. “If somebody else comes and says, ‘I’m gonna figure it out, I’m gonna do it myself, don’t worry about it… and I’m not gonna show you necessarily the road map,’ you’re gonna have to question that.”
