The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. gathered to march along the national mall today, marking the 100th anniversary of a march to help women get the right to vote.
The predominately black sisterhood was founded 100-years ago at Howard University. As their first public act, the Deltas participated in the Women’s Suffrage March in March 1913.
