Congratulations Stacey Abrams on winning the Democratic primary, officially making her the Democratic nominee for Governor of Georgia!
Abrams will face a rematch in November’s general election with incumbent Brian Kemp, who was Secretary of State when he narrowly defeated her in 2018.
She has been widely credited for her efforts to register hundreds of thousands of voters through her organization Fair Fight and in helping Georgia secure Joe Biden’s presidency, which also helped Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff to secure senate seats.
