The 2nd Annual Neighborhood House Association Block Party

San Diego, CA – May 23, 2024 – Looking for a FREE, fun-filled event that’s perfect for the entire family? Look no further! Join NeighborhoodHouse Association on Saturday, June 8, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Snapdragon Stadium – Thrive Park for the much-anticipated return of the NHA Block Party!

The 2nd annual NHA Block Party promises a day of excitement and community bonding. Families can connect and find resources, programs and services. From NHA’s Head Start and Men’s FAMILY Connection, to community partners like First 5 California, Children’s Physicians Medical Group, San Diego Public Library, San Diego Regional Center, Legal Aid Society of San Diego and more. There is helpful information and resources all parents need.

Kids will engage in thrilling activities like tossing Snowballs to Olaf, crafting Kung Fu Panda lanterns and mastering the Angry Birds Sling Shot. Plus, enjoy FREE lunch for children and FREE parking for parents while supplies last.

Shawn Brown, from The Super Fun Show, will be leading the charge in keeping the energy high and the smiles wide throughout the day. With his dynamic presence, Mr. Brown brings more than just hosting skills – he sings, dances and knows exactly how to get kids moving and grooving!

Families can watch captivating entertainment, including performances by the Webster Head Start Children’s Choir and get a chance to take photos with local sports celebrities, former Charger players Marcus McNeill and Derek Cox.

This unforgettable day of family fun and community connection is hosted by Neighborhood House Association.
