The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed an 8 pound, 6 ounce baby boy into the world today. The newest royal is third in line to the throne, and will one day become not only the King of Britain, but also the head of state to 16 commonwealth countries. Although the element of mystery surrounding the baby’s gender has been removed after the birth, the world is still anxiously awaiting the first pictures of the heir to the British throne, as well as the baby’s name. Until then, the world will wait in excitement and focus on sending good wishes to the new parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
