On Monday night, video streaming app Tubi, production company MALKA, and the WNBPA hosted the world premiere of Shattered Glass: A WNBPA Story at the WNBPA Headquarters in New York City, which featured appearances by WNBA MVPs Breanna Stewart, Nneka Ogwumike, Jonquel Jones, WNBPA Executive Director Terri Carmichael Jackson, Shattered Glass Director Andrea Buccilla, and other notable names from the world of sports and entertainment. Prior to the screening, Stewart, Ogwumike, Jones, and Buccilla participated in a fireside chat about the film moderated by ESPN basketball analyst Monica McNutt.
Other attendees included WNBA superstars such as Lexie Brown, Essence Carson, Diamond DeShields, Emily Engstler, Dearica Hamby, Isabelle Harrison and Marie Ferdinand-Harris (retired).
The trailblazing documentary promises an exhilarating journey into the heart of professional women’s basketball, spotlighting the extraordinary lives, resilience, and triumphant achievements of the WNBA’s most iconic players. Presented by PUMA with additional support provided by Crown Royal Regal Apple, Shattered Glass: A WNBPA Story premieres exclusively on Tubi beginning January 31, 2024.
