New York, NY — August 25, 2026 — Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH), the internationally renowned ballet company celebrated for its trailblazing performances and global reach, today announced its 2026–2027 touring season, bringing the company to major stages across the United States and abroad before culminating in its 2027 New York season at New York City Center, April 1–4, 2027.

The season continues to showcase the company’s acclaimed revival of Firebird, alongside DTH’s broader repertory, as the company tours to cities including Washington, DC; Rabat, Morocco; Chicago; Seattle; Tempe; Los Angeles; East Lansing; Detroit; Walnut Creek; Davis; Kohler; Charleston; and Philadelphia, ahead of returning home to New York City Center next spring.

Among the season’s most significant milestones is the company’s Morocco debut, October 2–3, 2026, at the newly opened Royal Theatre of Rabat, designed by the late architect Zaha Hadid. The performance marks Dance Theatre of Harlem’s first time on the African continent since the 1990s, when the company performed in South Africa at the request of Nelson Mandela, and underscores the company’s continued commitment to expanding its global reach and deepening its connection to the African diaspora.

“This season reflects who we are as a company: rooted in Harlem, but reaching every corner of the world that wants to see themselves in this art form. Our Morocco debut is especially meaningful. We all understand the significance of this theater, both to Morocco and to the continent.” — Anna Glass, Executive Director, Dance Theatre of Harlem
