A Long Beach Emergency Shelter for the Homeless, marked its 25th year of making a difference for families at Christmas Store.

Brenda Wilson, Executive Director and Lynda Moran, Deputy Director well known throughout the city of Long Beach as “The Twins” and Co-Founders of New Image Emergency Shelter for the Homeless, Inc. (New Image) provides bicycles, toys, shoes, clothing, and supermarket gift cards, to more than 2,000 children of homeless and low-income families during the holiday Season.  The event is strictly for children from homeless and low-income families by invitation only. Families must be referred by a social service agency, community business, or church who provide proof of eligibility.

“It’s a wonderful way to end 2020.  It’s a great honor being apart of a wonderful cause that gives to deserving families,” celebrity elf Tyrone Dubose said.

“This is my tenth year supporting this wonderful event,” said director Matty Rich, film director, screenwriter, and video game executive.

The festivities were held on Saturday, December 22, at the Hilton Hotel in Long Beach.
