JUZANG, the name of the newest faces of musical millennials on the M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Record, Inc. label are breaking ground in the Contemporary Gospel recording industry, with original music including two newly released singles, “Dance 2” and “Undeserving” on June 22, 2018.
These talented three sisters Guielle, Marisa and Patria natives of Huntsville, Alabama, with an impressive social media following (approx. 167,000), go onstage at the San Diego County Fair on June 23, along with the impressive list of M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Recording artists for an entire day dedicated to Gospel music onstage at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
JUZANG makes beautiful music that pierces the heart and entices the ear with stripped down melodies and simplicity. There are no added fillers, auto-tune or synthesized notes needed when these ladies perform. Their sound is the byproduct of innate ability, time in practice, discipline and a deep love for their Maker and their craft.
With music in their blood and born to sing (their grandfather arranged Gospel quartet music for over 40 years), the sister-trio has been singing at churches, concerts, special events like the 2012 Democratic National Convention Gala, and televised programs like the Bobby Jones Gospel Show and the “Magnify Him” program on the Dare to Dream Network. Also, in the footsteps of their grandfather, Juzang has shared stages with renowned artists such as Richard Smallwood, Byron Cage, Maurette Brown-Clark, Dave Hollister, J. Moss, 21:03, and Martha Munizzi.
Under the guidance of manager and industry legend, James “Jazzy” Jordan, a former music executive at Verity and Jive Records, the sisters have mastered being down-to-earth entertainers who’ve learned to balance their careers, while working towards earning college degrees and other endeavors while pursuing their dreams of stardom.
